I needed a cab the other night in Northampton, I had a company which I use fairly regularly they are only a small firm but when I rang I was told it would be an hour. I couldn\'t wait an hour so I rang another firm which the landlord of the pub suggested I try. The number he gave was a Northampton number 626262. The Bounds taxi turned up very quick and dropped home. The driver was telling me if I am in town again and need a taxi to pop into their new taxi office in Bradshaw street. I now keep their phone number in my mobile....

The other evening I was out in Northampton town centre having a few drinks with my friends. The evening was great fun and then as the time was getting late I decided to try to book a taxi. Having rang two or three companies all I was getting was, sorry I do not have a taxi available for the next 30-45 minutes. It was cold, dark and there were one or two shady characters around so I decided to go back in to the pub to ask for help. The guy behind the bar suggested I try the Bounds Taxi Lounge. I asked what he was talking about? He said there was a taxi office nearby in Bradshaw street opposite the old fish market building just off Sheep Street opposite the Subway sandwich bar. As I walked to the top of the Drapery there was a bright sign advertsing the Bounds Taxi Lounge. How impressive, a bright, warm, safe, brand new taxi office complete with 2 polite staff and even with TV screens to keep me entertained whilst waiting only a few moments for my cab. So I would like to say thank you to Terry my Bounds taxi driver for chatting to me on the way home but also to the owners and staff of Bounds Taxis for making this experience of being on my own late at night in Northampton, a comfortable and pleasant end to a great night out. If you are to book a taxi or be in the town and need a taxi, don\'t try and flag someone down or stand about in the cold, just head for the Bounds Taxi Lounge.
